1. Excavate- Dig, remove, create a hole
I was macking a fire pit so I hade to excavate.
2. Artifact- Anything made or used by man kind
When I was digginy I found an artifact.
3. Uprooted- Pull up, destroy, remove
I hade to uproot the artifact.
4. Contaminate- Impure, unclean
I was so contaminate after I was done.
5. Camaraderie- Friendship, bond
My best camrade helped me.
6. Gleaming- Flash, dim light
I was wearing a gleaming belt buckle.
7. Gruelling- Exhausting, tiring
I was so gruelling after.
8. Commission- Given authority, put in charge, given direction
I was in commission when we were digging.
9. Roam- Travel without fixed purpose,
After we went and roamed cliftin hill.
10. Subterranean- Exists below the surface of the earth.
we found a subterranean on clifftin.

    Tyler,
    Great effort with your sentences, a few things to keep in mind:
    - Watch out for type-o's.
    - Gruelling is more of an adjective to describe things not a verb you cant be gruelling but going to work can be gruelling.
    - Make sure your sentences have a subject, when I say that I mean a noun (person, place or thing). "After school, Tim, Rob and I went and roamed up and down Clifton Hill".
    - Subterranean means existing below the surface so you can not find one as it is not a known but an adjective, which means it describes the location of something. You might say, the dark soil types are found at subterranean ground levels.
